Meet A.E. Pennymaker

A.E. Pennymaker – A for Anna, E for Elizabeth, Pennymaker because… why not – grew up in small-town rural Pennsylvania as the daughter of an Orthodox Presbyterian minister and an artist. She gives thanks for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the author of her salvation and her only hope in life and death.

Anna’s first ‘real’ stories were written in spiral-bound notebooks with one of those fat 10-color multi-pens. She has no idea where any of those stories went but fondly remembers cackling like a madwoman over the ‘funny bits’ while holed up in her room.

Eventually, she went to school to be an English teacher. Since then, her life has taken a wild detour into one globe-trotting husband, five kids, and a forest of houseplants. Now *cough cough* years later she balances writing with digging holes in her yard (gardening, she means gardening).

Anna enjoys dark chocolate and a good plain latte, the smell of approaching thunderstorms, and chasing the aforementioned five kids and husband around the Virginian countryside. Also, talking about herself in third person… apparently.
